Hi,

If you want to assume they are still SOTA tweeters that is up to you.

I wouldn't, and would use them in a high value design rather
than a push the boat on cost design hoping for the best.

The real question is what good high value designs can you
substitute the D260 into in as a valid alternative tweeter.

That answer is complex,
but the best 5" and 6.5"
designs around are probably :
