Getting the DIYer blues again.

Are you joking, or just sleeeepy ?

Well several years is a long time and he's a good DIYer. Now if I had his aluminium cutting machine (laser?) I would also be a fine DIYer. Hey I've got the right schematics (tested during all those cheapskate years) so... I just can't work with aluminium and I'm also crap with wood. You'll see in time.

May be worth to just read the first part

6moons audio reviews: Fi Linestage & 2A3 monos

His designs may look like dirty diy, but may just be a cheeky kind of humour
Its really very very easy to improve on this box design, but he doesnt
Obviously he doesnt care what we think about it
Its a take it or leave it
Theres a quality in that too

I admit, it may be a bit over the limit, but that may be why it actually works
Improve the obvious flaws, and it may just look like any other

I would say its quite brave and takes a lot of confidence to produce and sell amps that way

Never mind, it was just meant as an inspiration
There are lots of ways to make ones own and different version
Might even look a lot better

He doesn't care. Artist don't care, they do their work and if you like it that's fine, if not...you're the problem.
He's a DIYer because he does all the work, he cuts the aluminium and designs the amp. One man company.
I think he's great.

Small market and he lives in NY, hip people there; he wouldn't sell if he were based in Indiana, not without a web page.:)
