Heater power supply
Hi,
Did you speak about the 6.3 V 10 A heater DC power supply on the attached picture ?
In this case you can find it here : Bloc de Chauffage 6,3 V / 10 A Régulé pour Ampli à Tubes AL0007 : RADIOELEC : Composants et Modules Electroniques, spécialiste Audiophiles et Radioamateurs , it is in France, but it come from China where you should find it
I have bought 3 of them, very convenient for tubes amplifier.
By the way, I still receive Private Mail asking for PCB, please add your name to prasi list, I am a little surprised by the low demand until now since many people asked for a third GB !

ok. here is an update.
I got the quote from PCB supplier.
Based on the quote, if we go with manufacturing 50 PCB, the price per PCB for option 3 is USD 10+ Paypal+S&H per PCB.
For 20 PCBs(if we dont reach the magic figure of 50 or more) , it will be 12.5 USD per PCB.
PCB specs (option 3)
2.4mm thick FR-4, 70 um copper , ENIG, green mask, white silk on top side.
I will wait for a day or 2 to see if there are any more requirements, otherwise I will send out PM to the current list members for their acceptance and paypal for 20 board manufacturing option and price.

The correct costs are as follows
1. 50 PCB production-each PCB price is USD 8+paypal+S&H
2. 20 PCB production-each PCB price is USD 10+paypal+S&H
If we go with 20 PCB production, total cost (including everything) for a pair of PCB would be ~ USD28 to 30.
If we go with 50 PCB production, total cost (including everything) for a pair of PCB would be ~ USD 24 to 26.

Hi,
I am pleased to see that several builders of the previous GB are planning again to buy PCB, that mean that they are quite happy with what they have build
I take the opportunity of this new GB made by prasi to add a new updated BOM because there were two typing errors in the first one and I also found recently that the amplifier could be biased more widely with a lower value for R39. I have also added some variations for the 500 V version... I should also say that I am very impressed by the offer of prasi who will offer thick 2.4 mm PCB in a small batch for a price close to the price of the batch of more than 50 boards made in Europe in 1.6 mm... I may be tempted to build an other one

I had the chance to meet someone through the forum who is living not very far from me and had the skill to design the mechanical part of the amplifier, therefor we are trying to make a nice enclosure for this amplifier before to start somethings else.
For those interested there is some draft of the top, rear and front panel in this message. The top panel will be produced by Front Panel Express, Expensive but very nice ! This will be compatible with a chassis commonly available on internet : Boitier DIY 100% Aluminium angles arrondis 380x320x90mm Noir - Audiophonics
All measures are in mm and I have designed 3 small modules for selecting the input, controlling the volume with remote and powering this with standby control...

Sorry acccruz, could you be more specific with regard to mechanical parts? That way Marc or other builders could provide you with pointers on where to get those.
