I will concentrate my efforts in the DX amplifier thread
I will return to this one when producing a different, a new amplifier.
The new thread was a need to use a new name for the amplifier.
For a while, my attention goes there.

Re: Simulator is a good idea, and lineup can use other transistors...respecting curre
We use maps, instead of REAL THING
when planing a travel
Shooting people into space
needs some investigation BEFORE the real thing
Use simulation is the best way.
Because would NOT be good to send them into SPACE
just for investigation and Training!
For a first test only
I use to say this:
A model in my Audio simulator can give me a hint
what circuit of A and B
is probably going to give better performance??
The values I get from THD etc. in my Sim is NOT going to be real world values.
But if testing different circuits, under same simulation conditions
we may get a good hint, what is better and not so good.
Even big amplifier chip manufacturers use Spice Models
as well as famous amplifier designers.
I am sure Nelson Pass, too!
Because a Spice Simulator, using as good models for components as possible,
is a wonderful TOOL & HELP.
It is not for real, but with today's CPU Brain Power
we can come very close.
You may say:
Using a TOOL, Hammer to put in a nail, is Cheating ....
The real thing is to Use your hands ONLY

Try to listen your simulator and you will see how perfect they can be.
Of course it is usefull....reason why they exist.
But they serve to almost anything BEFORE the listening tests and the listening pleasure.
And this is the main focus...the real reason to exist... of amplifiers...to be listened.

I have a different opinion here, my friend.
I would never use any listening tests, to decide any detail in amplifier.
Using real Amplifier + Oscilloscope, YES!!!!
It is not perfect.
But is good .. especially if using real loudspeaker as load
and so test only at very moderate output level.
This comes from my strong conviction
- that Human can not hear distortions below 0.1%
- while a good modern Oscilloscope, correctly set up
- can show as low level as 0.001% distortions .. maybe even lower
This is a factor of 1:100 = 40 dB !!!

When in fact, most animals have superior hearing.
In another league!
And the tools we can use today
is so far beyond what human senses can detect.
If somebody said:
"I can see tiny tiny molecules is that pieces of sugar at table here!"
Then we would say:
"Sure, you can."
But any sensible persons would think he is a fool. And be very correct
It is my logical conclusion, that the same thing goes in other areas of human perception.
Like detect very very small electrical impulses and sound waves .
Imagination is good. Correctly used.
But we must not confuse and call pure imagination is for REAL.
It is very good to know the difference.

It is not possible to me to build those amp [ i build 400 W - ab ]
but maybe i can hear from you which the best between NX 150 with DX 100 and what is plus and minus factor between
those amps

Alike every competition, human competition...for instance...box figth.... not one is the total and complete winner..as both had finished with their noses smashed.
My amplifier is simple.... cheap......the 150 is cheap...but not so cheap...also not so simple.
It is apples compared with bananas....for sure they are fruits..but so different they are..... Bananas can make a small kid grow very strong...and Apple can make him grow very healthy...and not so strong phisically.
Yes.... the Anthony Holton is a better one...but not too much.
He could not smash my toy amplifier...hehe
