Hi Dave, sound, as in any speaker, is really hard to describe, and depends a lot in what you put in front of it and specially on the room. I'm using a self built F6 and B3 preamp. My living room is not perfect for speaker placement. They are situated close to the back wall, but they are a bit forgiving with positioning, although I would prefer to set them differently. As any full range they don't do earth shaking bass or extremely refined treble, but they are really easy to listen to, and that was something I was searching for. To listen without being too analytic or too unforgiving with certain recordings. I'm really satisfied for just 20 hours of playing. Will they get better after 100 hours? We will see, but they perform already really well.
Sorry, awkward words for a new by in diy audio world.

If what Mark says, the ms drivers only need 10 hrs but i expect that they will continue to improve over the next 80 hrs at least somewhat.

I can certainly confirm this! First 10hrs on my 7MS was negligable in difference, but now at ~30hrs I can say they're certainly settling in very nicely. The latter 15hrs did involve some stuffing adjustments to manage the low end but mids (especially) and highs have been on a steady improvement of late.
Hey, first post but I thought I would show my MarkAudio Alpair 5.3s. These are 3d printed enclosures printed in PLA.
They currently live on my desk at work running off a Marantz amp with the source being a Behringer DAC connected to the PC

Hi. What is the 13.5 T internal box width for a Alpair 10.3? TIA.
My 50 cents to this thread: my latest lockdown project with Markaudio CHN-50
Nice!
great woodwork. some more pics of the assembly?
Forgot to take pictures during assembly. I can tell you that the box is just biscuit reinforced butt joined 12mm beech plywood covered with European walnut veneer. Inside of the box is covered with 1" thick low density wool felt.
Nice speaker. By the way have you tried (or anyone else) on this box Tangbang W5-1880 or Alpair-11MS ?Dear, JC Fardo
Thanks your comments.
