Those Vgs figures sound fine to me. Parts from different batches over different years will read slightly different, but they are inside the Toshiba spec for the "Y" grade devices.

The numbers look good. K2013 tend to have the Vgs‘ distribution deviates toward higher numbers than J313s’. And if you measure more population, you’ll find the K2013’s Vgs tend to flock around the median but the J313 tend to flock around lower number. You won’t get a lot of N-P matching.

As they were well priced, I wish that I had bought more now, LOL ! (I bought just five pairs)
(I got them about a year ago and the seller is not trading now).

Not being as knowledgeable (in electronics) as most here, I wonder if group buys would be a good idea for other well thought of components that are going obsolete? These could possibly be 'invested' in for the good of all and stored/distributed by the DIY Audio store, paid for by subscription of a few dollars in advance. Just a thought.

I bought something like 40 J313s and 60 K2013s, and only got a single quad NNPP matched and a couple of NP pairs. Same-sex matching was much better; I got octets of both NNNNNNNN and PPPPPPPP.

Since I bought mine far more recently than Prakit my price was higher, so there's no point in me selling those above and beyond what I need until Prakit runs out.

Sure. I'll have to measure mine again; I had all the extras nicely laid out on a piece of paper with their data, and then bumped the bookshelf they were on when moving something else.
