PCI CARD, bought it for crossover usage, but now Im into embedded development.
I want to sell it way below market price, 410 usd . It has 8pairs of AES outs , that is 16 channels. If you want no compromise crossover and room correction, you can set up a crazy-crazy server around it, outside the room, and use the 5-10 meter long AES cables. Use a squeezebox to give it the spdif input and presto! Filtered, upsampled signals for your DA converters.
I migh help you generaet FIR coefficients if you really want.

worth noting that the card has sophisticated dual PLL , so its supposed to discard incoming jitter and has very little on its own. You can also slave it like a cdp , BNC in/out.
For the outputs, you can build AES to Spdif converter with resistors, given the spdif input is transformer coupled anyway.
