my very own frugel horns MK 3
Yesterday I took delivery of a frugel horn MK3 flat pack courtesy of Colin Topps. I have to say Colin is incredibly helpful with lots of advice and recommendations. The box the flat pack arrived in was a work of art in itself!
The horns are up and running with a pair of MA CHP-70's. They've barely had 40 hours run-in so far and the cabinets themselves are temporarily placed but even so the horns are very impressive.
I've been reading about this design for a couple of years now and I'm delighted to have my very own frugel horns.
Congratulations to everyone involved in their design and a special thanks to Colin.

Good evening everybody.
Finally I have completed my build of FH mk3 with MarkAudio CHP-70 drivers.
Thank you for design and advices on build.
Satisfied with sound, neutral, airy, open.
Still can't believe that 4 inch speaker can play this good.
Best regards.
Sasha.

Very attractive and uses the CHP-70 that I have with the paper.
My temp box for that one is not sounding very good. But this build always seems daunting to someone with no shop. In any event, will be glad to hear listening reports.
I will try a search for other CHP70 projects again.

My new Frugel-Horn Mk3 with CSS EL-70 drivers.
Hello fellow diyaudio and Frugel-Horn enthusiasts! I finished building my first MK3 pair a week ago and am now busy burning in the EL-70 drivers. I'm very pleased with the sound that is developing to the better each day. Very impressive bass coming from that small driver! I find the internal design so good looking that I built one side out of 15 mm plexiglass. And also the supra-baffle. Posting some photos and a youtube link. Needless to say, the sound quality in the camera microphone doesn't do the speaker justice. ) Thank you for providing a very elegant and timeless design!!

Never mind the screws
What goes into the 'extra' driver holes.. and why?
might be using a main driver ( such as CHP70.2? ) that needs a tweeter
