horn construction
Hi all. I've been reading about this and thought I could contribute:
What if you used 'Pepakura designer' when you are assembling your horn?
http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/
(shareware )
Pepakura designer makes use of the old 'paper kraft' techniques but uses 3D models that can be scaled and printed out as 2d on paper or paper card stock to be cut, folded and glued together. It can then be hardened with fiberglass.
This is used much by ppl making 'Halo costumes' and such. (I give you a pic of a Halo helmet my kid made)
Good 3D models could be made in Blender 3 (Free)
...or if someone already have good models?
