Oiled with linseed oil...
Painted the cones with blue ink...

Boiled linseed oil has a wet antique like glow to it that no modern finishes can seem to duplicate. Nicely done.

Please don't do this! The big sound presentation with these grills is somehow smothered... Too bad... I will try some stiff cloth maybe...
But, I guess if you do not have any children poking around in your speakers...forget a covering...
