two month ago i made some inquiries about a high efficiency speaker with a budget of us$1000,00 , at this thread
My friend decided for a backloaded horn, and he brought them home today. The final price got more expensive, then the target price. But i think it was well worth. The horn and spikes are still missing, these will be finished soon.

That is i very nice driver. I read good things about radian HF drivers you made a good choice.
I have hear a coax. How about the sound stage with the Radian coax chassis. If you compare it to a non coaxial system Angelo.

i was able only to compare with a pair of small KEF floorstanders, previous speakers of the owner.
The Radian is a league above. Much higher sensitivity, bigger soundstage, deep and fast bass through the backloaded horn, very coherent, well balanced and natural sound, ,more revealing of small nuances. I think the midrange is a little layed back.
