Irina Aleksandrovna Bogushevskaya (November 2, 1965, Moscow) - Soviet and Russian singer, poetess, composer. Creates theatrical jazz or cabaret rock music. Her albums, written in a creative union with Alexei Kortnev: Book of Songs and Easy People, became widely known. She wrote songs to verses of Alexander Vertinsky together with Alexander F. Sklyar (Creator and leader of the Va-Bank group).

Absolutely talented and very cute! I discovered RP when "The Raven" album first came out. I have that one on both vinyl and CD. The other ones I didn't care for as much. Chesky has produced some fine recordings, several of which I have. David Chesky is also a fine pianist. I once had the privilege of attending a private concert he gave, several years ago, for the New Jersey Audio Society at a member's home here in Northern NJ.
