Searched the thread. No mention of Alison Moyet. She has Lovely voice.

Teenager Senri Kawaguchi's drumming always impresses me. And again here.

To me, with the possible exception of maybe three tunes, most of that Dead Petz stuff is utter garbage and raucous noise. How anyone can listen to that brain rot and think it's good is far beyond me. When you have to have your voice double and triple tracked, or sing through a harmonizer or vocoder, it's because you can't sing.hadn't noticed before, however, somebody really can sing
But wait! From another forum I found this link to Miley singing a real song. Wow, I'm impressed. She really can sing when she wants to. It's obviously a studio recording by the sound of it, but there's no gimmicks added. I don't know if she's ever had voice training (probably not) but she does a very nice job. There's a tiny bit of inner tension to her voice on the intro, and she could hold those long notes a wee bit longer and let then fad away rather then truncate them. But all in all she does a great job. I downloaded it and will put it on a CD to surprise some listeners at our next audio society meeting.

I like how she smoothly slides her notes upward on the sax. Perhaps a tiny bit weak in the singing department for my taste, but she's still young and cute as a button.
Lots of examples of her singing on YouTube. She has a great range.
Her ability to hold "long tones" on both trumpet and sax, is evidently applied to her singing. She's still young, as you say, nineteen, maybe twenty now.
This is a difficult tune to sing well. But she makes a good job of it.

This seems to be many people's favourite. She shows a lot of Miles Davis' influences on her trumpet playing too. She's seventeen here. The whole concert is available on another link

Recently discovered Antje Duvekot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvWgGu97Zeg&list=RD925eKx282SQ&index=5
Sadly the production of her albums seem a bit amutuer, but, being mostly obscure and doing most of her own promotion etc. she did what she could afford. Alot of her live performances are pretty good. Not a lot of technical merit to her music but quite enjoyable to listen to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZanvJ6kn3w
A very recent discovery, completely serendipitous is Grace Potter (multi-instrumentalist) and her band, the Nocturnals (which also included the fabulous bassist Catherine Popper - odd similarity of names).
