Ive heard them drop led zepellins name on several occasions, not surprising them and a ton of other rockers and metal musicians are and were heavily influenced by them. No doubt triumph as well, they are some great canadian rockers. Gil moore used to get his benz washed once or twice a month at the drive through car wash I worked at back in school daze. Nice guy and a talented drummer. Thanks for links.

Came across this band the other day. A synthpop/r&b band out of seattle named The Flavr Blue. The track is called We Can Go Blind. Not quite perfectly polished but the emotion in her (Hollis Wong) voice is damn addicting. It seems like the harder she pushes her vocals the better they sound. As such I actually like the live version of the song even more than the album version:

Yes I like Hollis's voice as well, and she's eye candy too. But that clip has somewhat poor audio with too much reverberant bar noise. I prefer Surrender both for the song and the audio. I believe many female singers sound better when they belt it out. That's one of the reasons I like Salyu as much as I do.

Speaking of, I had sent an email to them asking clarification on some lyrics. She was the one who responded back. Pretty cool!
