Faital Pro 15PR300

I've just come across the Faital Pro 15PR300. I'm not sure of their naming convention but assume it's a little brother to the well liked 15PR400. I'd just like to get some feedback on the specs. It has a lovely flat response graph where it plays, down low. It seems happy in a sealed cabinet too which is why I caught my eye.

Using Speaker box lite (less than ideal but I'm on Mac) the plots are:

Red - 15PR400 in preferred ported cabinet 103.8l tuned to 44.4Hz as recommended by app
Blue - 15PR400 in 45l sealed cabinet recommended by app
Green - 15PR300 in 130.7l sealed cabinet recommended by app

Here's the 15PR400 for comparison https://faitalpro.com/en/products/LF_Loudspeakers/product_details/index.php?id=101060100

What do you think as a sealed alternative to the 15PR400?

With such a high QT, the 300 would be better suited to sealed for sure…..a near perfect midbass woofer by spec paired to a 1.4” CD above and an 18 below.

Your intended use depends on your room……there will of course be room gain by boundaries and volume. Don’t forget there will be the inevitable in room null with a stereo pair somewhere between 40 and 80hz too so that spec critical area of f3 is a bit cloudy. A sealed pair of the 300s would work very nicely with a single subwoofer low passed at 60hz as a filler………say a single high excursion 15 in a sealed box. Given the overlapp to the 300 and room gain, in room response is likely an f3 around 30hz. I wouldn’t high pass the 300s…..let ‘em do their thing…..

You will not find a lot of info on the 15PR300, it was released earlier this year.
The "big brother" of the 12pr300 more or less.

The specs makes it a well suited candidate for a sealed midwoofer, just be aware of it's xmax limitations.

Modulation due to excursion drops quite drastically 80-110hz, so a good place to cross it to a sub.
