It uses 4 X 600 ohm windings.

wanna bet ?

(I never bet , because I'm loosin' each time )

:clown:

naah ..........

MZM thinks it's more as 4 x 150 Ohm , so 600:600 (conditionally) when 150+150:150+150

edit:

beep!

beep!
(ZM , humble , as Monty Pyton machine )

Test Circuit 1 , 2 , 3 ; 4 is not counting

Hallo tiefbass,

kleine Fehler....small errors, of course I meant Burning Amp-1, sprich BA-1, I was confused by BBA-3!

and the Magma was a nice try to combine F4 and an autoformer, to have a M2 like combination without feedback......

audio rob used a Jensen Transformer JT-13K7-A and published some data...

Thank you for the enlightenment.

Which of the follow brands provides the best price-performance ratio for interstage resp. driver transformer ??

The transformer secondaries are set up to drive the Fets in a matched
fashion, ........

Pa , please clarify .

I'm dumb ........ I can't see any meaning in driving both gates in phase , if that's meaning of "matched" ;

I certainly didn't look at first post pic thoroughly ......... and now I see that secondaries are really connected to drive gates in phase ........

if yes , then upper and lower modulation must be different in amplitude , intentionally ........

:p

off course , there is always possibility that you're pullin' da leg of poor ZM

Geez! I was going to suggest an AA meeting for audio, but i realized its already available in the form of this crazy event called BAF. You should see the pics from this thing. Its clear what type of person you will find there. Crazy guys with long hair smooching other guys. They even got crazy inventor who looks like Albert Einstein showing moving pictures that contain graphs of how distorted their world view is.........I want to go to there:drool:

I got curious and went looking through my school projects, from 30 years ago ,
I found a circuit I had wrote a paper on with almost this same configuration ,I use a complementary pair setup for class A but biased to turn on at different points ,I wonder if this is what will happen here ,the signal stayed in class A range ,although it conducted half cycles into the transistors to the transformer , wierd huh? got a A on it,lol. I'm going to build one and see what happens ,got to work out the values first, I will stay small signal Fets and get it working then scale it up to drive a Few watts, wish me luck ,,,I'm dumb, lol.I got a fire extingisher,,,lol.

anyone know what transformer will need to be constructed I seen some saying 600 to 600 R ,I was thinking maybe a dual sec power supply trans would be enough to just to play with and then wind one or purchase one if that configuration is existing,I would think it wouldn't go low Hz but should hit a reasonable range to test, comments are welcome,,,,,
