with lowish voltage you have the major opportunity to increase bias
which could be an advantage with lower impedance speakers
Tinitus--I haven't forgotten about that, and when I get a little more adventuresome, I think I'll give it a try. Right now, this is a warm Spring afternoon in Colorado, the Merlot is slightly chilled, and Schubert is playing on the F5.
