Stacked Quads with F5

I've used the F5 with my quads - sounds great, no bother to it driving them. But the F5 was not happy driving them stacked (wired in parallel).

But fire ahead with the F5.....

I am a bit late with this comment, but everything that I have read about stacking Quads connects them in series. This reduces the impedance drop. Paralleling them makes them even harder to drive...dropping to less than 1ohm!

Sorry about the delay... but have you tried serial connections with your F5?

What you say about driving the 57 with high powered amps is true only if you don,t have the protection boards
I have been driving mine with the boards for many many years with high powered amps without any issues and the boards show no sign of any heat damage or tweeter damage ever.
