I wish to build an enclosure with curved side similar to KEF
To accomplish the bends I have come up with a few ideas and I was hoping someone would have experience, or an opinion as to which might be the best solution or another solution all together.
Option 1)
1/4" MDF around the curve, the laminate another layer of 1/4"MDF, then again to build a total wall thickness of 3/4"
Option 2)
Slit 3/4" MDF as KEF does, after it has been clamped and the glue has dried, fill the slots with fibreglass autobody filler
Option 3)
Slits as above, but after the clamps are removed and the glue has dried, laminate bristol board or something similar to the inside of the cabinet. Then pour fibreglass resin down the slots from the top
I would love some feedback.
