It is the schematic of EC120, the "modern" Electrocompaniet. I think it should run cold, cause the bias is under 100mA/device.
Mine runs pretty hot.

could you rephrase that?
By the way, my two channels are identical (duplicates).
what your right channel works

Hi hollow_man,
As I see you used Altium for for the cloning. Could you please send me either the Altium project files or the gerber files for the amplifier modules and the power supply modules as well.
Thank you!
Zsolt
I tried to send you an email via the forum but you might have not received it....Anyone interested in the gerber files, please mail me.

I remember the first model quite well. Given a reasonably sensitive speaker it sounded very good indeed and far more musical than most. However many owners over-faced them by using difficult loads and the amp got a bad name in those 'muscle' quarters for unreliability. The replacement designs were not so good in sound terms but more capable in driving the more difficult speakers.
I would imagine that given a modern 92db+ good speaker system they would still hold their own.

Hi,
I have pulled out my Electrocompaniet Ampliwire AW65 out of years of storage, to my surprise, it still works. But its total cold to the touch after 2 hours of play. And it sound more like a transistor radio rather than Hifi quality.
May i ask if anyone here have a circuit diagram or biasing detail of this amp?
