Here's how I used it:

I used a 12K load to a .22 coupling cap and 234k grid resistor for the 45. B+ is around 150V and cathode resistor is 162 ohms bypassed with 35uF. I used a 420 ohm gridstopper.
I believe this gives a grid voltage of about -2.5V. Has no problem driving the 45 from a vcr to full power (1 - 1.5 watts).

This how I'm using it as well with the Russian version 6S4P-DR in my SE 6V6. Lovely sound. Just with a 470k grid resistor and 330ohm gridstopper. Not that that matters much I think.I used a 12K load to a .22 coupling cap and 234k grid resistor for the 45. B+ is around 150V and cathode resistor is 162 ohms bypassed with 35uF.
