Good question - I paid 13rmb for the chips which turned out to be fakes - that's about $2, small quantities. Mouser's volume price is around $3, small qty price about $6.
The secondhand ones I've just ordered were less than $1 each. Mouser's delivery fees are a bit high here in China so they'd jack the price up a fair bit.

Haven't done China yet but I've sent several items to builders in several countries via USPS and bypassed the high delivery fees at quite a savings. I'll be glad to give it a shot if you are interested.
