Just thinking now, am I correct? The bigger the driver the softer the outer edge of the cone is? So its less accurate?

Wouldn’t the dual 8” have more force because of the 2 motors?

BL is the motor strength.

I have seen it vary from around 4 to over 30.

In general, large drivers are crossed over at a lower frequency. This limits the resonance that will occur in the cone.

It is dangerous to assume by size alone that one will be able go lower and lose accuracy.

It is also dangerous to assume that everyone has a limitless budget with which to build a system with. To get the best of both worlds you got to pay $$$$. This was a generalization of majority of offerings available seeing that he never really specified a specific brand so I can only go on experience. But u are right there are a few brands out there that can break the rules but for some they also break the bank. Companies like JL Audio and Morel for example. They may also offer woofers in his country that are not available in the states, so that may change things a bit too.
