......... I like to have a hoist at home to move it. I imagine when you need to move this DTQWT to the listening room ...![]()
It is already decided, build a wheeled base, hidden wheels, will not be, and I will use the same wood finish. I think that will be fine and will not affect bass performance.
I've read that Eminence changed polarity on purpose, not a mistake, also terminals are labeled correctly positive and negative so no confusion.

Sounds interesting, you might provide the source ?
Thanks

I'll try to do a search but it was here on this forum I believe, someone had a similar issue and they contacted Eminence, there is a date where there is a break in how the terminals are configured.

Is this the post you were thinking of?

After several exchanges of emails with Eminence, the light has come on this subject ....
What seemed like an assembly error of the colors of the terminals (the oring can be exchanged) ended up being a properly assembled and identified speaker, but at an earlier date than the other three I bought ..
The terminals are correct, the pole piece of these models Deltalite II were magnetized neodymium before a way and ultimately reverse, (I am informed that there was a change of magnetizing machine)

Surely you've read here in this forum.

Latest developments, gluing rear panel, prepositioning of material damping " Acoustilux " of the rear camera. T-Nuts occupy space (1 mm), is necessary to lower the same as previously glued panels. ( More is always better 1.2, 1,5 mm )
Attention to this !![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Check the polarity and signal cables bass sector, both are black in this case and can lead to a phase error setting.

Now there is no return ..... closed the back!
I have not used my special presses, this works in the same way and the advantage is that the box is firmly resting on the floor. I think with all this weight is enough!

The glue is dry and proceed to cut. Actually sanded. With grinder machine and disc sanding it is done fast and well...![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Before working with the router on the front panel, do not forget to stick the felt on the top panel. Then it would be very difficult ....![nownow :nownow: :nownow:](https://files.diyaudio.com/forums/images/smilies/nownow.gif)

Latest developments:
Routing holes for wave guides tweeters, mid-bass speakers JA8008 , acoustic material, etc.
All this was done on the front horn sector.
I think I can make the first hearing in mid-month and starts.

Closed a box.
Next steps :
Build the base with wheels (this movable base will have only wooden supports, the tips of disengagement are not for me, I do not believe in them)
Painting boxes
Mounting and connecting the speakers ...that will be a rewarding moment !![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Wow! Great!
I have a very good feeling: a project completion before this X'mas (navidad)!![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
And... I also don't believe in spikes or similar things. Will sound the same with wheels etc, if don't change the relative height to ground too much, since this is a kind of "load" to the D/TQWT, if I recall correctly.
