I have a digital recorder that has 3.5mm stereo inputs for the headphones and mic. I was wondering if anyone has heard of or seen anything that would allow me to lock the male stereo ends of my headphones and mic into the sockets of the recorder. Everything that I find online seems to accommodate bare wire, but nothing that I could plug in-line with the cables. Does anything like this exist? If not does anyone have any suggestions for making the connection more secure?
Thanks a lot.

Can't think of anything off the top of my head.
Be careful, you don't want to drag your unit onto the floor.
If you don't mind changing both ends, male and female, then "Military Connectors" would work pretty good. They have a screw-on collar and are generally high quality.

Exactly. Nor do you want to tear the wires out of the plug or damage the socket. That's three of the reasons they're made this way.Be careful, you don't want to drag your unit onto the floor.
