No. To project a 3D image, the two monitors would need to be in perfect alignment. Additionally, you would need 3D glasses and some way to tell the glasses (and the monitors) to switch between 'left eye' and 'right eye' .... very quickly.
The problem with LCD monitors .... The Liquid Crystals can't be switched on-and-off fast enough to display a 3D picture.
That's why there are no LCD 3D TV's.
 
I actually wrote this Instructable. You won't be able to obtain the overlap of the two images created on both LCDs with only one lens.

That being said, I'm not sure what you have in mind. As Frank Berry said, it's not enough to have the two images of the 3D stream overlapped, you then need to assign each image to the right eye.
