I’ve got two CD changers that I currently have daisy chained using standard RCA cables. I would rather use the optical digital outs on the changers. However, they don’t support daisy chaining with the optical digital connections. Is there some sort of gadget that would allow be to combine both optical digital cables into one?
I hope somebody can PLEASE HELP ME
THANKS

Combine, I don't think so, but a toslink switch would work

It's nearly 10 years since the question was asked.
However, for anyone interested,

lol better late than never...
I bet it has a mirror prism inside which has a 1 way mirror finish on it that reflects back one input and lets the other one pass freely.
Either that a solar cell on the second input and an lcd screen on the other input.
Nice tech, a passive optical relay.
