In my experience, DC offset is a LOT easier to keep steady with LTP instead of single ended.

Back when I was an amp n00b, I had a hard time with biasing my home-made single ended amp circuits, and I didn't mess with LTP at the time because I thought it was too complex. I came to find out that LTP makes biasing easier and it's easier to pick resistors.
