Jessica,
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.

Simply outstanding.

Specially recorded Live At The Fillmore East,

Some of the best American Rock, heck, some of the best rock and roll... ever.

BTW, the second one... one of the best "I may be coming down fast, but I'm still miles above you" songs ever written!! (1) The guitars simply take you on a trip while the rhythm session just boogies along. Oh yeah! Greg does it really good too.

I always thought, still do, that In Memory of Elizabeth Reed is one of the MOST underrated songs anywhere. If you hear it, listen to it, it's simply an awesome musical trip ( I got it right now on Tidal as I type this ).

It's like the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 2nd Symphony. People just don't give them the respect they deserve.

(1) Pink Floyd Echoes being the complement (2)
(2) Not that I would know, you know? Just what I've read.

RIP.

OK, you also got Mountain Jam, which for all or you youngsters, I got some creed. I was able to record both sides of the LP into a single continuous cassette track using my Dad's top of the line, in '76, three head deck. ;-) Definitely one of them Middle of the Trip songs along with 95% of the Dead repertoire.
