Just make sure the dimensions are suitable for your chassis.
Gold Just googled electrical conductivity and it seems copper is far better than nickel and tin, so unless its a corrosive environment I wouldn't bother. Silver is better than copper by a little, but it oxidises as badly as copper I think so there is little to be gained. I would polish the copper and use washers that bite into the plate (not sure what they are called) for good conductivity. Maybe then cover it with a varnish so as it doesn't oxidise.
My understanding is silver oxide has much higher conductivity than copper oxide. We're talking the conductivity of the oxide material here.
Copper oxidises no matter what. You should see some of my speaker cables they're bloody green. Haha.
