if anyones interested, I ended up using the Kenwood cabs, cut the fronts out, and used the backs as the new baffles for the quad of VDO 6inch drivers.

and Ive since produced on them, and JVC and VDO together sound much more solid. and it shows with my latest work.
It will also pay to make note, i didnt put a back on them, so I guess theyre an open baffle? theyre filled with wadding tho, so theyre not hollow, cause thats how they sounded initially.
