No. I'm talking 'power' xfmrs used as audio xfmrs,

What total power level were you thinking about?
With this information I could suggest a size but have no experience with suitability.

The center tapped secondary as autoformer works !
8 Ohm up to 32 Ohm.
BUT
Qts went from ~1 to ~0.3
(Wt-3 may misread through the xfmr though?)
