I have tested about 15 i / V designs for ES9038PRO.
Andrea and I have also worked together, designing, testing on each design.
We tested and tested, now on my computer and my device and Andrea. Below, I will present the tested designs and test measurements.
I would like to thank:
1. keantoken - have run the simulation and have the best advice for I / V design
2. Morten checked the comparison of the ES9018-9038 data and checked the digital meter.
3. Thanks Andrea for the same design I DAC and the i / v with the test gauge.

Design I/V DAC ES9038PRO
1) Passive LL1684 (original schematic)
measurement ok, sound ok
2) Strange differential stage
measurement ok,
sound ok but this is not a true differential stage
3) Differentianl stage + IRF820 (my output stage)
measurement for me ok , sound check more
4) Differentianl stage + cathode follower (my output stage with all tubes)
measurement ok sound is so so.
5) Pure tube stage push-pull with LL1660PP
measurement not ok for low freq. but use LL1660/18mA with only
measurement not ok, sound is bad
6) 6DJ8/ECC88+ transformer with capacitor in the middle
(Chapter 4)
measurement ok, sound need test more
7) SEPP with ll1684 trasf. input
measurement ok sound is best
....

I got my order. The passive IVs you sent appear to be a new design. They have a relay and a diode on them. What are the values of these parts?

the relay can not work in the PCB, you only use jum for output SE and balance!
