The audio amplifier made in April this year, was originally used "beijing" FU-32 done in parallel single-ended, and later a British seller in EBAY where to sell me four CV2799, ordered to transform it into the form of the following figure.
Do not be confused by beautiful photos, I'm not doing commercials, photographs of tube amps is unique in the world, are TURING own diy out. Beautiful photos, the reason is Turing is also an avid photographer.
Here I have repeatedly been misinterpreted as doing commercials. Very aggrieved.

Have to say CV2799 is a very nice tubes, British workmanship, praise one here first.
Nightscape, CV2799 has a charming light.

Not too sure about optimum load for these nice little guys, but I have tried them in push pull and PSE. They are NOT well matched within the envelope and one of them will run way hotter than the other.
Perhaps thats what you perceive as good tone Turing? Individual fixed bias is the way to go.
Cheers
Matt.

If class B push-pull output, a fixed bias is very important. Class A, AB class, totally unnecessary. Take a look at CV2799 parameter maps, the curve is very good, almost no pentode with the match. Sense of hearing is very good, simple circuit, we recommend that you try.
TURING, is the OPT you used, with 3.5K primary really optimum, or have you tried any other transformer?
CV2799 I do not have full power output, but in accordance with 832 (FU32) adjusted, according to the performance curve, should be used in parallel after 3-5k output transformer. Select 3.5k output transformer, the optimum value should be.
Surely these tubes are a better candidate for a Push Pull amp. It seems a bit of a waste to parallel them.

Agree with you. I also do a push-pull output tube amp. Recently will upload pictures. Push-pull tube amp really better than single-ended. Unashamedly. However, single-ended output otherwise charm, it depends on the preferences of the audience.
