AudioGeek said:why poorly?
just wondering what i need to look at?
As I see it:
1. The idea like such for a good and yet simple amp is Great!
2. The implemented result will be Entirely depending of Component Qualities
This means
* Best possible MOSFET, at rather high currents.
* Best possible and maybe even very Expensive Transformer.
... preferably custom made if not any suitable around
With 'result' in this case,
I mean BOTH sound qualities & real measured data.
There is Very Often a high correlation
between measured data/sound quality
... at least if it is Real High Fidelity we are looking for.
But in DIY Audio
there are people looking for anything and everything
Not necessary high fidelity.
We only have to read a few posts in this forum before we realize this.
No harm in this fact.
We live in a free world ... I hope
