Counterpoint I/V

I need to know if I can connect to the Counterpoint I/V only a SE input so the input+ after will go to the Ballsie Filter/Buffer or it's not necessary?

Please help me, I need the Ballsie/Filter to convert balanced to SE if the Counterpoint is only connected the input+ so like SE?

Hi Merlin,

I am not really following what you are asking for.

You don't really need and BAL/SE stage if you only use the counterpoint single ended. I would sttill suggest using one.

Thanks for answer, I bought 2nd hand your Counterpoint I/V & I have a DAC outputs only SE, the question is answered: if only connect SE input & only connect SE output don't need the Ballsie/Filter but if connect my BII DAC balanced to balanced Counterpoint inputs will need the Ballsie/Filter to connect a SE ouput, right?
