I can't get a used pair here in Canada at a reasonable price so DIY is the only way to go.
I just need to know
1) Gauge of steel columns and plates
2) Dimensions
to start drawing an ACAD 3D model
I know Epos made a stand similar to the one mentioned above but unfortunately the former is too large for my little speaker!

I found an old ebay listing that said they were 50cm tall. There seems to be three different configs. for these stands, all using square section tubing. They are all very dated looking IMHO.
Why don't you clone the Katan stands instead? Much more modern looking and you can make them any height you want, make them out of aluminum and sand fill the large tubes.
A friend made similar stands for his Missions and had them powder coated grey, very nice looking BTW.
