What are this two parts function on the Metis 3? Part of protection? Can you show us?

Yes.

Part protect circuit of the metis3 including two IC: TL074CN and 74HC00D.

TL074CN have four units opam, using two 2 units opam for sampling from B+ comparison with voltage reference, not use 2 units.

74HC00D to control driver relay speaker.

When have problem on B+ is voltage reduced => Protect

Not protect zero DC.

Thank you

My opinion, to perform this simple function not need to use complex circuits diagram so.

I also do not understand why Goldmund use the TL074 (4 units opam) without using the TL072 (2 units opam)

There are places they use components is optimal. But there are many places they use components very difficult to understand.

When I clone them,I usually remove these parts.

Regrads,

Not connected anywhere.

Positive of the opam always is Low
Negative of the opam always is High
=> Output opam always is Low

This Low level will comparison with voltage is 70/11k/2= 3.18V

When have problem in B+ is this voltage will up or down => the change in output 74HC00D (pin11)

Regrads.

What exactly are you trying to build? Can you tell me about that?
