I have a question here, I think Carlos (destroyer x) will be able to answer because he has an AKSA.
The question is, can you burn an amplifier if the earthing arrangemets of the two equipment you're connecting are different?
I read a post that an AKSA amp which uses star earth was connected to a double insulated or different earth scheme and it burnt.
Also I would like to understand the problems which can arise from various earthing arrangements.
thanks

This is a timely thread. My questions is about multiple trafo's , do you connect the CT's of 2 or more to the same main star ground ?
With 3 different chassis grounds (heatsinks on hinges) I have a lot of green wire... ,5 PCB stars ( 4 on the amps , 1 huge one
on big supply) and 1 on the main chassis.

That is the importance of my query , especially where the PS can kill .or perhaps safety issues?

The worst case scenario is clearly the Safety Issue.Professor smith said:so the worst case scenario is humming noise?
or perhaps safety issues?

could you please explain to me how this might arise when connecting equipment together each with different grouding schemes?
