Kramskee boards in progres
Hi Fellas.
Here a short presentation of kramskee's boards.
The most parts are placed, some missed little filmcaps must be added,
than i can start next time testing.
Schubert i like your idea too with LatFets.
Cheers

Merry Christmas to all
Thanks kramskee.
With good engineered boards is easy to work- only the 3pins are a bit tricky to
solder on one sided board- but all good.
The only missed part never arrived!-390p.
I have 330p FKP2 on hand- can i use that without significant influence?
Than i can report to an good old style- early Nelson Pass work- redesign.
Regards Bangla.

Hi,
Maybe tis is the correct Thread....
Before chopping the PCB Tazz made with no return back, I would like some help to go in the right direction.
I'm posting two version...and I'm not sure about DC...I've written 18v because I have a 18v transformer, for the Mosfets I have a 500W 24v.
Many thanks and Happy 2017

Hi Kramskee.
Finally i could finish this project with last month received 390p styroflex cap.
Setup was running good. Only point the trimpot is a bit tricky if you have matched the point- with only little touch you are rising out.
What i like is the safe operating bias compensation- it is self bias down by warming up- so that little sinks doing his job 10-15° over ambient temperature.
I have start with 120mA, after full warm up it stays solid on 90mA with 10mA
offset.
The offset goes higher too with the bias.
First listening impression: a pleasantly playing amp. Solid bodied tonality with
light punchy bass (different to LatMos Fet).
A good candidate for longtime everyday entertaining with good image, my opinion.
No reason not to build a very compact amp.
Nice Weekend to all.

Wow that looks fantastic! What a great job, nicely done!
I'd like to see the finished product once it's all boxed
I know the trimpot is ultra sensitive, it crossed my mind to address this but I decided to keep it all standard as per Nelson Pass' original modifications.
For anyone else who's interested I still have PCB sets available
thanks for the update Bangla

Thank you for kind answer, kramskee.
I was reading again yesterday Nelsons article....we now are back in 70's- nice.
And it's very attractive to see how simple could be drive HexFet in this circuit.
I forget to tell there is little short BUZZ when switch off the amp.
Yes a idea is in my head to build a nice pocket case, what can be placed on desk or make it easy to move with carrying handle.
Needs a bit time....time is the factor.
