Wow! Thanks for all the ideas. I guess it's going to come down to how much time I'll have finishing my new toy and how much it will cost. I guess because I;m not planing on selling the amp and I know exactly how to replace the chassis is a big plus.
I've done lots of faux granite walls, cupboards, trim, speckle painted vertical blinds. I really like the bronze hammertone paint, and original Dawn dishwashing soap ideas. There is a good chance that I cannot source many of these things locally. We have lots of automotive shops/parts and lots of gunsmiths. What could be better than driving around shooting things.
