Yep. Whether or not you want to count it as a "stage" is up to you... or more importantly, how you connect it. Say you take NFB off the output; an extra coupling capacitor (to the CF) will give you trouble, however a cathode follower can be direct coupled easily, making an essentially invisible (electrically) buffer.
But that's an answer much too specific for such a vague question. I'd rather say something nonsensical like "battle of new orleans" in response.

Neither, gain stages in total 5 plus one cathode follower, which is not strictly a gainstage in the of voltage gain, but a stage with power gain, so really the answer is 6!
