While searching form information on Cathode follower amplifiers I stumbled upon this pdf http://class.phys.psu.edu/p457/Manuals/krohnhite_DCA10R.pdf of a Krohn Hite 10 Watt wideband amplifier.
The detailed schematic is on the PDF. This should work as a regular audio amp, right? Even using a toroidal Power Transformer as opt?
I was trying to find any examples of cathode follower PP power amps but I can't find much. RDH4 has a reference to an article but I cant find it. The article is titled "A Practical Cathode-Follower amplifier" by Gibson and Pavlat.

There's a fair bit of info about this type of circuit on the tubecad website as well. There are also otl circuits by futterman and sansui using the same concept. If your wanting this kind of output stage then search around for totem pole or sepp rather than cathode follower.
