The current capacitors in my Fisher 80-AZ amp are each 40uf x40uf x 500v x 500v, and there are two of them pictured:
Dual caps with those specs aren't available, so I was looking at this:
Qty 5 40UF 500V 105C New Axial Electrolytic Capacitors
$20 aint bad, but will these caps work as replacements? Here is the schematic of my unit:
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Antique Electronic Supply stocks plenty of multi-section electrolytics.
I found one which contains three sections 40uf@500v/20uf@500 volts/20uf@500 volts.
Simple put the two 20uf sections in parallel to create 40uf.
They also have multi-section electrolytics that mount differently.
Happy rebuilding!

That was fast, and that is a great link! Thank you very much. This will be so much simpler.
or this: Capacitor - Electrolytic, 50/50 µF @ 500 VDC, JJ Electronic | Antique Electronic Supply
maybe less expensive

For such a critical part of a high voltage circuit I would prefer a branded product from a reputable supplier. How about this:
TVA1908-E3 - VISHAY SPRAGUE - CAPACITOR ALUM ELEC, 40UF, 500V | Farnell United Kingdom
