Quarter round is a nice easy way to finish plywood butt joints. You simply use a cleat on the inside and add the quarter round after. Popular 30 years ago. Still is I guess in some circles.
Come to think of it, it is my first build hiding all the plywood end-grain, which I personally like and sometimes (try to) put to good effect.
Might explain why they have a retro sort of look to me, perhaps a bit of 80's in there because of the oak?

Nice project, I like the approach. I too like to see some 'character' in my projects!
I get amazing battery life from mine too
something they used to call a "book", which is kind of like a web page, but different.

We are working on a new quarter-wave design which in 1st prototype show huge potential.

I anxiously await!
Not a desktop/ nearfield monitor - more than that is up to the designer to relate
Ahhh, so it is bigger than a bread box...but likely smaller than a refrigerator. I still anxiously await.
I'm listening to them right now - while it would be silly to expect the same level of dynamics, scale, impact, bass extension , or cohesiveness when SPLs are above high 80s, as with larger FR, or multi-ways such as the A12PW/ A7P MTMs, there's just something about the 85.
Of course, high pass them and add woofers, and it's a different story.
Enclosures are approx 30" tall floorstanders with a familiar enough shape.
