It's not about the KF940, but shows a DIYselfer making some measurements of one to four 1850 cabs he maked, with the bonus of Rog Mogale comments about it, and the manner he suggests to do it.
Despite the tecnique applied, it shows how the response flattens, below +-2dBs from 43Hz to about 180Hz, when stacking 1 to four cabs, and how the position of the cab's mouth also will impact the final curve.
As I made 4 modified of that boxes and I know how stacking flattens it's well, and only using halfspace.
Also made a pair of the Tuba 36, tried some drivers in it, without good results. Maybe it's the big backchamber that give the deep were it must give more (40 to 60Hz) when pushed to the limits (same for the Tuba 24). Like the Table Tuba, it needs the corner to come alive.
