I don't know if this particular value of THD+N have something to do with this amplification class, but I think it's only related to the maximum power!
Sometimes classs d amps are quoted as having low distortion but at much lower than full power. Beware of this. This means at full power there could be significant distortion.
This is a good example of quoting distortion specs at low power with no info on the performance at the power they are claiming the amp is good for.
0.02% THD+N at 1 watt! Please. It's a 250 watt amp, and all they give is the distortion at 1 watt. No thanks.
I've found that a good improvement (here by sendler)on the sure tk2050 is the substitution of output coils with Wurth Elektronik coils... would it be good to change output coils of Hifimediy T1 with WE-PD coils, in particular 7447709100 ?
Has anyone ever tried to do this improvement? I' don't want to modify the whole amp board because it seems already good built, but this looks to me to be a very worthy mod...
This all is because I want the best for what I pay!
