I'm going through a similar process. I have a superb 2.3 cu ft sealed box which will become more like a 2 cu ft when driver and amp volumes are subtracted. A almost bought Seas Excel W26FX-001 (very expensive but superb driver) and then noticed that the Qts was way low for sealed box application. I'm opera and classical music buff and I have an all horn system except for the sub. My 35Hz horn sub had to go do due its size - low WAF. For me musical, detailed bass far outweighs "lots of bass."
