Hello,
i made a new construction
~34 Hz
for 3", 5", 6,5" and 8"
bass driver,
15 cm flat behind the flat screen
or two with 100x120x15 cm,
or sideboard for
sat placement.
the 17 inside width
would be a best solution with the
TB W6-1916.
the 23 cm inside width
would be enough for
small PA up to
200 Hz by superb
sytem impedance,
by using a
8N MB420 16 Ohm 18sound
you can couple two
double horns (4Ohm)
with one Submodul.
opinions?

Nice, , I,m going to try a dual line speaker (either horn or tapped horn / TL of some sort) one of these days, though i migh cnsider the drivers on opposing sides. Can you share your design principles /process? Is it something like this: http://www.icon.co.za/~heinl/Nike.pdf ?

Hello,
look my double horns until 2004,
all more or less the same,
best to interpret at the KORNETT measurement,
with simulation, the horns are 1,4-1,7 and ~2,55m
long, to proof the construction by the membran
movement of the single simulation.
kornettmess
or short in about what in the middle:
about what
thanks for the link, i didn´t knew it,
i see at the imp that it can´t work like my construction,
i made TML in the late 70ties before i
started horns.

Yes I've had a look at the DBH designs at your site. Regarding the DBH plans, there seem to be 3 designs, only differing in the width of the box. I could be wrong here.
Couple of questions: Are the side walls of the horn, non-parallel? I see that the measurements of the horn front are wider than the rear.
What are those 4 rectangular structures on the rear baffle of the horn?
I am interested in using 6.5" drivers; for example, a Fostex168SigmaES and another 6.5" woofer in a single enclosure with a ribbon tweeter on top. What do you think? Thanks.

Hello Samuel,
"3 designs" no 4: 3",5",6.5" and 8".
when the width is the same the side wall must be parallel??
i don´t understand:
"I see that the measurements of the horn front are wider than the rear."
what measurements, or you mean mouth opening distance,
sorry what do you mean:
"What are those 4 rectangular structures on the rear baffle of the horn?"
may be you ment the two double speaker TB W3-1750S.
http://www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1230_04/w3-1750s.htm
Take TB 6.5" or FE166 EN and a bassmid-driver.
