I have noted the little green led in the board controler dosn't light, it was my first concern that something could be bad, then i saw a wrong resistor value 33k insted of 2k. After replacing the resistor the led lights up.

Sorry.This is the current limiting resistor of LED, which can control the brightness of LED. It does not affect MCU work.

What's means dicrete rc codes?I don't quite understand. My firmware is OK, and it should not be upgraded.

one rc code for i2s,
one for usb...

this would be great for users with programmable remote controls

There is no external control interface. Only remote control and encoder control.

Hi Leon, the remote works fine. I have another question about USB port, since we have a dedicated power supply to supply the Usb card, Can I disconnect the red wire from the pcb?

USB of SK is an independent power supply with a linear power supply（+5v）.

Yes - you can use the J3 header of the dam1021. I did that - no problem.

The TTL interface is reserved. With a TTL to DB9 adapter, you can upgrade 1121 firmware.

Hi Leon, so in your opinion, I can remove the red wire 5v from usb input pcb, in this case the usb card work with 5v supplied from 5v regulator from sk board, is it right?
Another question, the 3.3v tps serves for what? Can I use this 3.3v, to supply the 3.3v soekris dam in order to replace the hottest 1117 ?

5V (red) from the computer USB was cut off and replaced the linear power supply on SK. 3.3V does not need to care, SK will power to dam1021.
